Default CD/DVD playback
The wii is able to play CDs and DVDs, Nintendo has some hints of it in the FAQS section. The feature is however locked right now.

Can it play DVD's and CD's now? Or are they coming out with a different version?

I have heard that now the wii 2007 would be able to play DVDs, but I think you need a special chip or adapter type thing for it. Can we play Audio CD's??
