I'm not much of a Wii guy but my buddy has one and I am interested in playing... though I don't really know what Motion Plus is (just an advanced version you need to buy seperately I'm assuming.)
Wondering if it's an actual requirement or if I can get by without? |

Yes, Wii motion plus is required, wii motion plus just gives your Wii-remote advanced motion control. You can attach to your Wii remote, and plug a Nunchuk in, or there is another one with it built in, there was a special bundle deal that came with a golden Wii remote with Wii motion plus built in, and a Music CD, but you will most likely find it no where, cause it was a limited edition.

No, it's absolutely necessary. It's just something that goes on your wii mote, or you can get the wiimotes with them built in. There's a Skyward Sword bundle that includes that wiimote, if there are any left in your area.
