Right, here's a challenge for you Dreamcast Experts....I turned the dreamcast on and the time/date screen came up and the sound worked...but the main menu wouldn't come up.
I turned the dreamcast off, played the disk "Star Wars Jedi Power Battles" and came it on....it played the very beginning of the cd (introducion), but I couldn't progress onto the Star Wars Game Main Menu as the screen now decided to stay black and there was no sound or anything. I've tried the same on the same on 2 TVs, the same response.....I personally think it's a ariel fault, as the disks does spin and the time/date screen DID appear. so I have bought the newer Dreamcast ariels off ebay in case that might be the problem. Why are Dreamcasts the most annoying console ever???? Does it sound like a TV problem, or a ariel problem because I am almost 100% sure that the console is in perfect order? |
