How to fix the Blinking screen Issue on an NES?

How to fix the Blinking screen Issue on an NES?

I have an NES
I opened it up to see how it worked, I broke the thing that made the cartridge stick down.
But now All it does is flash white repeatedly over a black screen.
Is that because of the game thing

I asked this before and It got removed...not sure why...
