i'm planning on purchasing guitar hero: world tour for Wii. i only have two controllers though. i know that you need one for the guitar and drums, but do you need one for the microphone as well? thanks in advance!

Yes for the microphone.

You will use the microphone for actual competition, but you need the remote to navigate the menus.

You need an Wii Remote for every instrument. The Wii remote for the microphone does all of the selecting.
