Hi many component cables they do not last long & Monster cable they last forever because there made special cable cords. Yes the Wii it is not a HD console but, it could support 480 Progressive resolution. So is it worth buying it?

I would say to just get the official Nintendo ones. They are $40. I've had them since day one and think it looks great. I don't think the Monster Cables will look any better.

I personally dont think that the Monster cables are worth the price that you pay for them. They are very well made and are good sturdy cables, and usually have good insulation. Having said that, the picture quality they give you isnt really any better than standard cables from what I've seen. You can try monoprice.com for pretty cheap cables. I believe Cnet.com has done a study about high end cables not really performing any better than standard cables.
