In mario kart wii, What does the driving class affects like 50cc, 100cc, and 150cc?

In mario kart wii, What does the driving class affects like 50cc, 100cc, and 150cc?
Does it affect the turning also of the vehicle? If so the spear bike is the chosen bike for 50cc if it improves its turning?
Does the engine tighten up their turnings

It just makes the enemies harder and the karts faster the higher you go so basically its this:
50cc=slow karts, easy enemies 100cc=medium speed medium difficulty 150cc=fast karts hard enemies Thats all and happy racing oh yeah mirror mode is later in the game and is just like 150cc except backwards
