There are thousands of hacked Pokemon being traded daily so I would not suspect so.It's only at Pokemon events that your Pokemon are checked for authenticity and any hacks. You can not participate there if your PKM have been altered or your game has been altered.

i think that you wouldnt get banned from online because i dont think thats possible. but im guessing they would probably switch your cartridge with a new one if you went to a nintendo event or so.

Nintendo could ban you online but it is unlikely because then they would lose business because less people would be buying dses.
