everytime i press a button on my wii remotes it just blinks and wont register as player 1 or 2 how do i fix this problem and i just put in new batterys so its not that

Open the little flap on the front of your wii then push the red button. Then push the red button on th inside of the wii remote(you might have to push and hold both at once for a couple seconds) hope this works.
